Starting a five day intensive training course incorporating the Install and Configure course and then some portions of some upcoming courses relating to Scalability, Security, Performance and Availability.

Module 1: Course Introduction
Normal intro for any course.

Module 2: Introduction to VMware Virtualisation
Nothing new here, same basics.

Module 3: Configuring VMware ESx and ESXi
Not much new here either.

Module 4: Installing and Using VMware vCenter Server
It is a windows application all the same sorts of requirements, except maybe the dual cpu requirements.

Module 5: Networking
Nothing new so far, all about vlaning and the standard vSwitches as this point. Though to be fair only made it half way through this module. The first half was about standard virtual switches. The second half looks like it will go into vNetwork Distributed Switches.

Basically anyone who has actively used the products for more than a couple months will know almost everything presented on the first day.

Basically could have done without most of the first day.
